Wendy Head
Wendy Head ‘s paintings show huge variety in subject matter and style. They range between figures, nudes, landscapes, interiors, flowers and still life’s and are predominantly acrylics or oils.
Her style is figurative but she is increasingly interested in semi abstraction.
She graduated in June 2009 with a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art and subsequently won first prize in a major painting competition in Wales.
She will be opening her house and studio to the public as part of The 10 Parishes Festival from 10th to 18th September 2011.
Visitors welcome at all times to her studio, to see what she is doing, to chat or to discuss commissions.

Bryan Rigg
I was born in Winscombe in the Mendips and now live at Stoodleigh in the Exe Valley. After studying at the West of England College of Art in Bristol, 1946-50 and 52-53, specialising in painting, I taught Art and Craft in secondary schools until early retirement in 1983. I taught evening classes at Swindon Art College and tutored in slipware at teachers’ courses. Other work at that time included designing and painting theatre scenery.
I have exhibited paintings, drawings, sculptures and 3D pictures in a variety of venues including a joint, 2 person show at Taunton Museum in 2006.

Ann Le bas
Ann Le Bas lives and works on Exmoor. She has worked freelance and undertaken various commissions including for the National Trust Foundation for Art, Royal Academy Graphics and the Bishop of Bath and Wells. A collection of her prints is included in the permanent collection of the Ashmolean Museum and she is also represented in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Exeter City Museum and the Royal Academy Archives amongst others and she has also sold her prints overseas in countries such as the USA and Australia.
Ann is also a regular exhibitor at the Somerset Art Weeks.
In September 2009 she will be showing some of her printmaking examples at the Somerset Art Weeks Group Show at the Dulverton Heritage Gallery.
